Unlike most laser hair removal machines in the past, the SPLENDOR X is one of the few machines that can still be effective and be done on suntanned skin. However, we do ask that you try to avoid direct sunlight the day or two before....because burnt skin is not the same as tanned skin.
Shave the treatment area a day before your session. Do not wax or pluck hair prior to the treatment, and refrain from applying lotions or other skin care products right before coming in.
After your treatment with the Splendor X laser: Protect the treated area with sunscreen to prevent sunburn, aloe to cool, and hydrocortisone if any itching occurs.
